Samantha Leano started with ABE LA in July 2024 as the coordinator for the Pasadena Bio Collaborative Distribution Center. She has formed strong relationships with ABE LA teachers and provides them with exceptional service.

One of her most impactful accomplishments has been the creation of the BOLT Student Fellowship, an innovative program that provides students with valuable hands-on laboratory experience, outreach opportunities, and résumé-building skills. In addition, Samantha has increased ABE LA’s social media presence by providing weekly content on all their accounts and sharing monthly teacher recognition articles and interviews with industry scientists. Her networking efforts have helped ABE LA form new partnerships. Colleagues describe her as a “dynamo!”
